Quote for the Week:

You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You're on your own.
And you know what you know.
And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go....

Hang in There!

I spent my first official time at floats last night and was quite impressed with how much you juniors worked together!  I love being part of a school where students of all sorts of backgrounds get together to accomplish one task.  Poor Peyton never said a word as she was stuck between Hoyt and Robert who talked about cars for several minutes!  You only have a couple more nights of grueling work--hang in there!  Things were looking great!

  1. My favorite part of floats was the extra time and laughs I got to share with all of my friends. On the other hand, the agonizing hand cramps from rolling paper squares into minuscule balls were the worst part.

  2. My favorite thing about floats was getting to spend time with all my class and getting to know people much better than I did before. I think the worst part about floats was how tired I was all week.

  3. My favorite parts of float week were watching our grade come together and getting to talk to people I do not normally see during school. However, my shoulders hurt pretty bad after pomping grey "stones" on the castle for hours.

  4. My favorite part about floats was the bonding that occured between my fellow students and I. It was a magnificent occasion because you have the privelege of conversing with classmates who you normally do not converse with on a normal school day.
