Quote for the Week:
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You're on your own.
And you know what you know.
And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go....

Another Snow Day!
I'm beginning to think it might be spring before we get to complete a full week of school--not that I'm complaining that much! The picture above is one I took on the way to school (I actually stopped on the road--I did not take it while driving) Thursday morning. If you did not get much snow this time, you really missed out--it was absolutely breathtaking! Every time I looked around, I was reminded how fabulous our creator is! He GAVE us a beautiful scene to remind us even during cold and dreary times, He is with us and has something wonderful in store for us. Next time it snows, rather than grumble about being cold or stuck at home, look around and spend some time with the most talented artist ever...our God.

More Snow?????
I knew it was coming--or at least guessed it was: SNOW! I jinxed us because I made lesson plans up until spring break. Usually, when I do this Mother Nature messes up my plans--to remind me I'm not in control. So, if you get a day off in the near future, you can thank me! Just kidding (I really don't have that much power) :-)

Welome Back!
I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas break. We had lots of fun at the Boyd house! From Lego sets and a new DSi to a huge Barbie house, my kids raked in some cool stuff! Now, though, it's time to get back to work. I hope you each make a commitment to yourselves to do better than last semester. Remember, there is always room for improvement :)
